OUR WORK

PERSONHOOD   A Play By MAX MONDI

What does it mean to truly know someone?

Two people move in together, and as they explore each other’s histories, personalities, and bodies, they begin to fall in love. The only problem is, they never actually meet.

Personhood explores notions of intimacy and identity in our post-gender, technologically driven world.

A workshop production of this play was featured at HERE Arts Center for a full week run as part of the SubletSeries@HERE: Co-op, HERE's curated summer rental program.

WAITING   A Play By NORA SØRENA CASEY

A hospital. The wild west. An Italian Restaurant with suspiciously small servings.

The distinctions between time and space are collapsing for Kelly following the death of her father, and anything from a wedding toast to a sinister advertising campaign might hold the secret of where it all went wrong.

WAITING is a new play with music that explores our state of self through the events that shape us.

Following a two week workshop to explore a new adaptation of the music, a staged reading of the piece was performed as part of the Student Performance Residency at The Barrow Group.

A WORD OF LOVE   A Play By MICHAEL GUREVITCH

A theatrical comedy with music that weaves together the fairy tale of a princess and her one true love, with the challenges that we face in today’s society.

‚Äč

Originally written in Hebrew by renowned Israeli theatre maker Michael Gurevich. This production marked the first ever performance in the US.

A fully staged workshop of the play performed at the Hudson Guild Theatre as part of the NY Summerfest winning three awards including Most Creative Play.

MAYBE TOMORROW  A New Play By MAX MONDI

A tragicomical, meta-theatrical experience that explores the obstacles and tolls in marriage, and also the very medium of theatre and its meaning today.

After developing the play with playwright Max Mondi, it made its official debut with a sold-out run at The New York International Fringe Festival where it won the FringeFave award as well as Overall Excellence In A Play and later continued to another sold-out run at the Fringe Encore Series.

The play has since gone on to perform for two successful runs at The Peoples Improve Theatre and is currently under development for further performances.
